Job Summary

Reliability Engineering Industries PrivateLimited is seeking dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Managersto drive international business growth across key global regions. The roleinvolves developing new business opportunities, managing strategic customerrelationships, and expanding the company's presence in industries utilizingmechanical seals and rotating equipment.

The ideal candidate will possess strongtechnical and commercial expertise, a proven track record in industrial sales,and the ability to build long-term relationships with OEMs, EPCs, distributors,and end users across assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for mechanical seals and sealing systems.
  • Manage and grow existing key accounts to achieve assigned revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute sales and market-entry strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
  • Drive revenue growth and market expansion within assigned regions.

Technical & Commercial Support

  • Collaborate with Engineering and Application teams to propose optimal sealing solutions.
  • Support customers in seal selection, troubleshooting, retrofits, and upgrades.
  • Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and tender submissions.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with customers and business partners.
  • Provide technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers.

Customer & Channel Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with OEMs, End Users, EPCs, and Distributors.
  • Conduct regular customer visits, technical meetings, and business presentations.
  • Coordinate with distributors and channel partners to strengthen regional market penetration.
  • Identify strategic partnerships to support long-term business growth.

Reporting & Internal Coordination

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM data, and management reports.
  • Coordinate with Production, Supply Chain, Service, and Logistics teams to ensure timely execution of customer requirements.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and industry events.
  • Support management with market intelligence and business development insights.

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualification

  • B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience

  • 8–10 years of experience in Mechanical Seals, Pumps, Rotating Equipment Sales, or Business Development.
  • Proven experience working with industrial customers, OEMs, EPC projects, and distributors.
  • International or regional market handling experience is highly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of Pumps, Rotating Equipment, and     Industrial Applications.
  • Familiarity with API, ISO, and other relevant industry     standards is advantageous.
  • Ability to understand customer technical requirements and provide     appropriate solutions.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong customer relationship management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple     regions/accounts.
  • Results-oriented mindset with strong business acumen.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across assigned territories.
