Quality Inspector Trainee

Reliability Engineering Industries Private Limited is looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented Quality Inspectors / Trainees to join the Quality Department. The ideal candidates should possess a Mechanical Engineering background and have a strong interest in quality assurance, inspection processes, and manufacturing quality standards.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in incoming material inspection, in-process quality control, final inspection, testing, and quality documentation within a manufacturing environment.

Inspection & Testing Activities

• Perform inspection of incoming raw materials and purchased components.
• Conduct in-process inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Carry out final inspection of finished products before dispatch.
• Assist in product testing and validation activities as per quality procedures.
• Verify dimensional and visual requirements against engineering specifications and drawings.

Quality Monitoring

• Identify and report quality issues, defects, and non-conformances.
• Support corrective and preventive action activities.
• Ensure adherence to company quality standards and inspection procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality.

Documentation & Reporting

• Record and maintain inspection reports, test results, and quality records.
• Maintain non-conformance reports and inspection documentation.
• Assist in preparing quality reports and maintaining traceability records.
• Ensure all inspection records are updated and properly archived.

Educational Qualification

• ITI / Diploma / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience

• 0 to 2 years of experience in Quality Inspection, Manufacturing, or Engineering environments.
• Freshers with strong technical knowledge and a passion for quality assurance are encouraged to apply.

Technical Skills

• Awareness and practical knowledge of measuring instruments such as:
  o Vernier Caliper
  o Micrometer
  o Height Gauge
  o Dial Gauge
  o Other standard inspection tools

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Basic understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Awareness of material properties and manufacturing processes.
• Basic knowledge of quality control and inspection techniques.
