We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Head of Operations to lead and oversee all internal operations of our Hyderabad facility. This pivotal leadership role involves end-to-end responsibility for design, manufacturing, assembly, testing, and quality assurance of our complete product range. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, including CNC machining, welding and fabrication, and proven experience in operations leadership within an industrial or precision engineering environment.
Strategic & Operational Leadership:
• Drive operational excellence across the organization’s core functions and deliver exceptional customer service
• Develop and implement efficient systems, processes, and best practices to optimize throughput, quality, and cost.
• Collaborate with leadership to align operations strategy with business objectives.
Design & Engineering Oversight:
• Provide customer focused leadership and direction to the design and engineering teams, across 3D CAD and CAM
• Ensure adherence to relevant standards and specifications across all design activities.
Manufacturing & Assembly Management:
• Oversee daily production, machine shop activities, scheduling, and resource planning.
• Monitor capacity utilization and further develop lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop 5's and ensure safe and compliant operations
• Implement new manufacturing divisions including 4-5 axis CNC machines and equipment in accordance with the business strategy.
Testing & Quality Control:
• Oversee in-house testing, validation, and performance evaluation of mechanical seals and systems.
• Drive quality assurance protocols in accordance with ISO and other applicable standards.
Team Leadership & Development:
• Build, mentor, and lead cross-functional teams across engineering, production, QA/QC, and operations support.
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
Budgeting & Cost Management:
• Prepare and manage operational budgets, capital expenditures, and cost control measures.
• Identify areas for efficiency improvement and waste reduction.
Vendor & Supply Chain Coordination:
• Work with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials, components, and services.
• Evaluate and establish relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Experience: 10–12 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a senior operations or plant leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of 3-4-5 axis CNC machining and pressure vessel manufacturing processes is highly preferred.
• Proven track record in managing operations in a precision engineering or industrial manufacturing setup.
• Hands-on experience with lean manufacturing, ERP systems (SAP), quality systems (ISO 9001), and safety compliance (ISO 45001).
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
