We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Distributor Manager – Middle East to lead the growth of sales and the development of a strong distributor and agent network across Saudi Arabia, UAE (Dubai/Abu Dhabi), Qatar, and surrounding GCC countries. This role is critical to expanding the company’s footprint and revenue in one of its most strategic export regions.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in identifying, appointing, and managing industrial product distributors, along with setting performance targets, defining sales territories, and supporting partners with technical and commercial resources.
Distributor Network Development:
• Identify, evaluate, and appoint distributors and agents across the Middle East region.
• Define clear territory coverage plans, segment responsibilities, and performance targets.
• Establish long-term partnerships that align with company goals and market strategies.
Sales Growth & Market Expansion:
• Drive sales growth through the distributor network for all product lines (mechanical seals, support systems, etc.).
• Conduct joint customer visits, presentations, and commercial negotiations with distributors.
• Monitor regional market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
Partner Enablement & Support:
• Train and support distributor teams in product knowledge, application engineering, and sales strategies.
• Provide marketing materials, technical tools, and ongoing guidance to ensure partner success.
• Ensure effective post-sales support and coordination with internal teams.
Target Setting & Performance Management:
• Set annual and quarterly sales targets for each distributor/agent.
• Monitor KPIs, lead conversion rates, and territory performance.
• Conduct periodic reviews and corrective action planning.
Travel & Relationship Building:
• Regularly travel to Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, and other nearby countries to support partners and meet clients.
• Build strong relationships with key end-users, EPCs, and plant engineers.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (MBA is a plus).
• Experience: 10+ years of industrial product sales experience, with at least 5 years in distributor/agent management in the Middle East.
• Proven success in appointing, developing, and managing distribution networks.
• Strong understanding of the Middle Eastern industrial market, particularly oil & gas, chemical, and infrastructure sectors.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and cross-cultural communication skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
