Alan J. Roddis

Alan James Roddis is the Managing Director of our company, bringing more than 30 years of international experience within the mechanical seal and rotating equipment industry. Widely recognised as a reliability engineering professional and accomplished business leader, Alan combines strong technical expertise with extensive commercial and operational management experience.

With a specialist understanding of Intellectual Property development and engineering innovation, Alan is the Inventor and Co-Inventor of more than 50 patent applications covering technologies including mechanical seals, hydraulic assemblies, seal support systems, bearing protection seals, and rotating equipment reliability solutions.

Apprentice trained from the beginning of his engineering career, Alan holds a First Class Degree in Engineering with Business Studies together with a Masters Diploma in Business Administration, providing a strong blend of technical engineering knowledge and strategic business leadership.
